Welcome visitors, and me, to my blog Ingen Liv.
My dream blog would be where I make sharp criticisms about politicians and school-people, how their idea of education is so obsolete and dogmatic and conventional and irrelevant and wrong. After some trial and error, I realized that I felt uncomfortable with my writing and found it rather arrogant and repulsive. So, I’ve decided to not try so hard at desperately making up voices to be heard.
Rather, I’m going to use this space for personal updates, like a billion other teenagers out there. Places I went to, people I met, things I saw and learned, flowers I planted, pictures I took, breakfast I made for Mom, whatever I find appropriate and interesting, I will share here. If you find it interesting and useful, great! Maybe you can keep coming back and we’ll learn something from each other. If you don’t find it so fun, well, I just hope you don’t think of me as too much of a fool.
Maybe occasionally I’ll feel confident enough about my idea that I’ll post it in here and you’ll let me know of yours.
As for the title “Ingen Liv,” it means, in Jilly-Norwegian, no life. I tried to make it as accurate in Norwegian as possible using Wikipedia, Wiktionary, and Google, but, I’m not sure really. Yes, I’ve noticed how people think that if people don’t go to school or regular “day jobs,” they have no life and they’ll just sit in the house and watch TV. Well, I don’t go to school. I take their prejudice into consideration and label this blog “no life,” so let’s just wait and see how much of it turns out to be so.
So, um, welcome, I think.
Nice blog!
Congrats for re-opening
